Worlds of Fortune is a spin-off of the television show, Wheel of Fortune. There will be 4 rounds with 3 winners per round for a total of 12 winners. In each round there will be 3 ground players. Everyone else will compete as a ghost. There is a limit of one box per person. Ground Players: At the start of each round three names will be drawn. If your name is called you unghost and sit down in the order your name was called. The topic will be shown before each puzzle as well as the number of letters in each puzzle. The ground player in the first chair will start guessing letters in the puzzles. To guess a letter, please say the letter out loud in capitals. Vowels may ONLY be selected after all the consonants have been filled in. The player will continue guessing letters as long as the letters selected are in the puzzle. When a letter has been selected that is not in the puzzle, play moves on to the next ground player. Please pay close attention to the letter board. If you select a letter that has already been guessed you will lose your turn. You may not esp the puzzle to the host if you are a ground player and you must also wait until the host has said "GHOST WINNERS" before solving the puzzle. You have two ways to solve the puzzle and win a box pick. One is by filling in all the letters of the puzzles or two is by saying the answer to the puzzle out loud. Be very careful if you decide to say the answer out loud. If you mistype it, you will lose your turn and play will continue with the next ground player. Ghost Players: Everyone who is not on the ground will play as a ghost and compete against all the other ghost players. As a ghost player you can esp the host all the answers that you think will fit the puzzle. Please REMEMBER to include a space between the words in the puzzle when the puzzle is more than one word. The host will pick up the correct answer. The first two ghost who send the host the correct answer will win a box pick. Event Games: At the end of the four rounds the ground winners will be called down one at a time to select a box followed by the ghost winners. No points are awarded at event games. Assuming there are 12 players registered by the time the names are drawn for the 1st round, registrations will be closed. If there are not 12 players by that time, registrations will be closed as soon as there are 12 players. Weekly Game: You score one point as a ghost for every puzzle you solve. As a ground player you score one point for being called and an extra point if you solve the puzzle. A bonus point is handed out to the person who finds a chill pill in their box. In addition they will receive a paint set. Also there is a pear hidden in one of the boxes. If you find the pear you can select any prize you want from the fuzzies in the first room to anything you see in the 3rd room of the turf. |
